Arizona Phi Beta Lambda
The 48th Annual State Leadership Conference of Arizona Phi Beta Lambda will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 13 – 14, at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. The conference will begin on Friday with the Opening Session and the first session for written objective tests and will culminate on Saturday evening with our annual Awards Banquet.
The State Leadership Conference is the premier event in Arizona PBL, and all members and advisers are strongly encouraged to attend. All conference activities will be held on the Arizona State University Tempe Campus in the W.P. Carey School of Business, BAC building and the Memorial Union (MU), except for the optional social event on Friday night (TBA).
Registration entry forms will be due from each chapter on March 9. The receipt deadline for payments for conference registration fees will be April 6.

The following State Officer positions will be filled by a majority vote of the voting delegates present at the state leadership conference:

Interviewing for the Dream Job – Presented by Mark Creech, AZ PBL State President and National Western Region VP. Saturday at 2:15pm
You got the interview! Now what? Tips for acing the job interview. This workshop will cover valuable tips to help you be prepared for the interview, as well as, go over a cover letter and basic resume writing. We will have a panel of experienced professionals there to answer your questions.
Keys to Success – Business Models and Blockchain for a Digital Economy – Presented by Niraj Kohli, University of Phoenix. Saturday at 4:50pm
The workshop will address the keys to success in the Digital Economy, presenting the basics of business models (i.e. what makes a business model and its importance). The workshop will also share the components of Business Model Canvas along with short video’s on Business Video Canvas by the author Alex Ostawalder. The second topic will be what is Blockchain and its role in the digital economy.
The Arizona State officer team will have a series of meetings via google hangouts to help members prepare for SLC. Stay tuned for more Information
