2017 Local Officer Training

Creating productive leadership Join Arizona Phi Beta Lambda state leadership team for the 2nd Annual local officer training workshop. The workshop is designed to prepare officers and advisers for another successful year in Phi Beta Lambda. We’ll focus national and local programs while sharing best practices. 2017 NLC in Anaheim

I have I always wanted to say this  “I’m going to Disneyland”! June 24-27 Arizona PBL members attended the 3 day leadership conference. All seven of our chapters were represented at the conference. Arizona did very well at the conference, producing  1 national champion, will several CMAP award, membership awards and received  two March of dimes grants. AZ PBL also contributed 12 baskets for the silent auction. We want to thank Dillard’s for their support of out silent auction. They donated eight baskets, in which some of the fiercest bidding wars happen over their awesome donations. Our members took place in the March of Dimes mini walk and I am proud to say the we donated $140. The professionalism in which our members represented AZ PBL was admirable. 2017 WLC hosted by Central Arizona College

Central Arizona College  Business Club Hosted the Arizona Phi Beta Lambda Winter Leadership Conference, held Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Superstition Mountain campus.  Thirty students from ASU, PHX College, NAU, ERAU, and CAC competed in 24 events with the help of 10 judges and advisers.   2017 Arizona PBL State Leadership Conference When: April 14-15, 2017 Where: Arizona State University Who: All AZ PBL members Our annual AZ PBL State Leadership Conference will begin on Friday, April 14 with two testing sessions and a social event.   I still can believe it “Mark Creech PBL Western Region Vice President”. Of course my life mantra is” It’s not how you start but how you finish”. This is just another example of accomplishing what many said was impossible. When I joined Arizona Phi Beta Lambda all I wanted was to build a resume, to help me compete against other college graduates. The journey began in 2012, taking online classes online from Central Arizona College. Yes, I know many students take classes online, I wonder how many take their classes while working 70 hours a week driving a Semi-truck throughout the country. Most non-believers felt I would never graduate, however I had a reason to not fail. My wife needed me to come home to help raise the grandchildren.
