Awards Presented at PBL National Fall Leadership Conference (NFLC)

Membership criteria is based on the October 20th deadline. (Note: dues must be received by October 20).

The following awards are calculated automatically:

  • Largest Local Chapter
  • Largest Local Chapter Membership—Professional Division (by affiliation)
  • Largest State Chapter
  • Largest Increase in State Chapter Membership
  • State Recruitment of Chapters (may be FBLA, FBLA-Middle Level, or PBL)
  • Largest State Chapter Membership—Professional Division (by affiliation)

  • Largest Increase in State Chapter Membership—top two (2) state chapters in each region and one (1) national winner
  • State Recruitment of Chapters—top two (2) state chapters in each region and one (1) national winner

PBL Chapter Awards

Outstanding chapter Award

PBL chapters must complete twelve (12) activities. Complete and submit these online activities, uploading all required documentation. When all documentation is complete and the activities are completed, submit the project online.All projects must be submitted by April 1.  Link for: Outstanding Chapter Award_

Connect Ten

Local chapters increase membership by ten or more members over last year’s number.

Big Ten

Largest ten chapters in the nation are listed on fbla-pbl.org

Goal Seal Award of Merit (Hollis and Kitty Guy Award)

Chapters are nominated by state chair. Local chapters participate in projects and programs identified with the goals of FBLA-PBL.Each chapter may choose two chapters.

Career and Membership Achievement Program (CMAP)

The Career and Membership Achievement Program (CMAP) is a comprehensive leadership development program for college students. It utilizes PBL projects, goals, and programs to help college students develop their leadership and job skills, with a special emphasis on career development and preparation for the world of work. Members complete three integrated levels: DirectorExecutive, and President.

Who’s Who

Nominated by state chair,recognizes most outstanding member in each state.

 Outstanding Local Adviser

Nominated by state chair,recognizes a local adviser who make contribution at local,state and national levels.

Adviser Service Recognition

Recognizes local and state advisers for years of service (5,10,15,etc)

Adviser Wall of Fame

Recognizes local and state chairs with 20 years of service to FBLA-PBL

Businessperson of the Year

Nominated by state chair, this recognizes a business leader who contributes to the success of FBLA-PBL on the local,state and national level.
