The March of Dimes Foundation is a United States nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. It was founded by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938, as the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, to combat polio. It has since taken up promoting general health for pregnant women and babies.
Arizona Phi Beta Lambda has raised over $1300 dollars for March of dimes since 2015. This year Arizona PBL and Central Arizona College were awarded March of Dimes Lift Grants. Therefore we will have two signature events this year.
- Bowling for Babies – Maricopa, Arizona
- Baby Olympics – Tempe, Arizona
